The student is instructed on proper technique, terminology, and musical phrasing. Emphasis is on the core and body alignment while building strength and flexibility, fluidity, technique with proper placement. Paying acute attention to the unique needs and limitations of each individual body is paramount.
Learn to create a variety of sounds, beats and rhythms. Whether music or creating a tap masterpiece without
music, students learn tap vocabulary, coordination, and awareness of balance and body weight shifting. Dancers get a cardio work out in a tap class!
